Country Rocker Richie Fields Brings His High-Energy Show To Cancun Cantina West On Saturday, November 1
Special DVD Giveaway Planned
Nashville, TN (October 6, 2008)- Country rocker Richie Fields brings his high-energy show to Cancun Cantina West (901 Dual Highway, Hagerstown) for three, one-hour sets starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, November 1. In a special promotion, Richie will give an autographed DVD of his debut single, "Man Enough To Cry," to fans who purchase advance copies of his upcoming CD at CCW. The cover charge is $5 and you can get more info by calling 888-797-4422, or by logging on to www.cancuncantinawest.com.
His single has already hit #1 on the Roots Music True Country Chart, and continues to rise on the New Music Weekly Chart (#29). His career is gaining momentum, and it's been a steady ride since Richie made the decision to focus on his music. "I started writing songs in 1999. But it wasn't until January of '06 that I gave my music top priority," says the Howard County resident. His commitment to music is evident on his debut CD, MAN ENOUGH TO CRY. Fields contributed two songs to the project and turned to some of Nashville's hottest tunesmiths for the rest. "Getting the chance to record songs by writers who've had #1 hits cut by Brad Paisley and Tracy Byrd is an honor," Richie says. "The writers pulled out some gems for me, and I hope I did them proud."
Fields has been gigging steadily along the Eastern Seaboard (and beyond) in support of his upcoming CD. This summer, he shared the stage with high-profile acts like the Kentucky Headhunters and The Lost Trailers.
