Memorial Motorcycle Ride to Benefit the Humane Society of Washington County

Hagerstown, MD: On August 23, Throttles Bar & Grill, located at 236 Cumberland Street in Clear Spring, MD is holding their inaugural Michelle Younker Memorial Ride to benefit the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC).
The ride is being held by Wanda and Sam Mills of Throttles in honor of their friend Michelle Younker who passed away in August 2005. "We were trying to think of a way to honor Michelle and this seemed like a great way to do it," said Ms. Mills. She added, "Michelle loved her animals and we thought that making a donation to the Humane Society in her name would have made her happy,"
"What a nice way to honor Michelle's memory and the love she felt for her animals," stated Paul Miller, executive director at the HSWC. "We are honored that Wanda and Bill would include us."
Registration begins at 12:30 and the ride starts at 2pm. Sandwiches and light snacks will be served at Throttles Bar & Grill at the end of the ride. A $10 donation is requested and all proceeds from this ride will be donated to the Humane Society of Washington County. Call 301-842-0185 for details.
