Hagerstown Student Joshua Patrick Whitt Wins Wilhelm Wundt Award

(St. Mary's City, MD) May 28, 2008- Joshua Patrick Whitt was recently awarded the Wilhelm Wundt Award at the annual St. Mary's College of Maryland Awards Convocation.
As the state's only public honors college St. Mary's College is ranked as one of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, The Princeton Review and Kiplinger's. St. Mary's College of Maryland's 2000 students participate in a program of academic excellence like that of a top private college while maintaining the openness and affordability of public education.
The Wilhelm Wundt Award was established in 2003 to recognize a student's excellence in quantitative and methodological course work.
Whitt, of Hagerstown, Maryland, will be a senior majoring in psychology and neuroscience. He is the secretary of Psi Chi and is a member of Nu Rho Psi. After graduation, Whitt plans to attend graduate school in neuroscience.
