It's Only Ink! I Wonder...
It's Only Ink!
Harriet Fishel has put together a fabulous book that is sure to get the minds of children spinning. In her book, told in rhyme, one little girl wonders what the world would be like if there weren't any numbers. Would dogs walk on 2 legs if the number 4 didn't exist? What would happen to baby bear from The Three Little Bears if the number 3 didn't exist?
The second half of this creative book talks about things like what if bees went on strike, or if cows quit their jobs...
"I Wonder..." is an imaginative book that is sure to delight the younger crowd. The text is fairly easy-to-read, large and the illustrations are fun and brightly colored.
Teachers could easily incorporate this book into their lesson plans. It's sure to start a huge discussion among the kids.
This reviewer and her 10-year-old-daughter highly recommend "I Wonder..." by Harriet Fishel.
