Robert L. Wallace to Speak to Business Owners

Hagerstown, MD (March 13, 2008) - A lecture and workshop featuring keynote speaker, Mr. Robert L. Wallace will take place from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Duffy's on Potomac, located at 28 South Potomac Street in Downtown Hagerstown. The subject of the workshop is a four-quadrant model for successful entrepreneurship, which identifies four critical areas that an entrepreneur must focus on each day to increase his or her probability of long-term entrepreneurial success.
Mr. Wallace has founded numerous companies and is currently the President and CEO of BITHGROUP Technologies, Inc. Mr. Wallace is an internationally recognized expert and speaker in the areas of business economics, entrepreneurship, wealth creation, economic development and technology integration. Mr. Wallace has published numerous successful articles, papers and books on entrepreneurship. These highly acclaimed books include: The Color of A Billion: How Women & Minority Entrepreneurs are Building Billion Dollar Enterprises, Strategic Partnerships: An Entrepreneur's Guide to Joint Venturers and Alliances, and Soul Food: 52 Principles for Black Entrepreneurial Success.
Mr. Wallace will also conduct a second workshop on April 24, 2008, titled, Rational Economics. "We welcome small businesses, including minority and women-owned businesses to attend this workshop," stated Hagerstown's Economic Development Director Deborah Everhart.
This event is sponsored by the City of Hagerstown, Hagerstown-Washington County Industrial Foundation (CHIEF), the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Maryland Small Business Development Center, Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission and SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business).
