Upcoming Alzheimer's Association Community Event - FREE for all attendees!
"Introduction to Alzheimer's disease and Dementia -A Family Presentation"

Do you have a loved one in your family that has been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, know of someone that has Alzheimer's, or you just want some more information? If so you are welcome to attend this FREE community event called "Introduction to Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia - A Family Presentation".
Alzheimer's disease causes gradual, irreversible changes in the brain cells. The changes usually cause difficulties with memory, decision making, personal care activities, and communicating, both in expressing your thoughts and understanding what others are saying.
You may be worried or anxious about the changes you've noticed so far in your loved one. Although there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease, there are treatments that might help with some of the symptoms. Also, having information about the disease can help you cope.
Event Location: Frederick County YMCA
Mercer Building (park in the YMCA lot or on the street)
1016 N. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701
FREE of charge!
If you are interested, please RSVP to the Alzheimer's Association at 301-696-0315. There is no cost for the presentation.
The Alzheimer's Association is a United Way member agency and is the world leader in Alzheimer's research and support. Through a national network of advocates and chapters, it advances research, improves services and care, creates awareness of Alzheimer's disease and mobilizes support.
