Service Honors at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village

Three employees received service honors recently at the annual Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village recognition dinner.
Kelli Lichtenberg, assistant director of accounting, received the Grace Grimm Award as Employee of the Year. She has been at Fahrney-Keedy since 1999.
Jenna Hoffman, MDS (Minimum Data Set) coordinator in nursing, received the Customer Service Award. An LPN, she has been at Fahrney-Keedy since 2004.
Melissa Ward, who started as an LPN and was promoted to an LPN team leader position, was named Rookie of the Year. She began work at Fahrney-Keedy on May 31, 2007.
Ms. Lichtenberg and Ms. Hoffman are from Hagerstown; Ms. Ward is from Sharpsburg.
"These employees are an example of our entire staff; they exhibit qualities that represent the mission and vision for care of Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village," said Cassandra Weaver, director of human services.
Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, a continuing care retirement community, is located along Route 66 several miles west of Boonsboro. With 160 full and part-time employees it serves a resident population of almost 200 women and men in independent living, assisted living and long and short-term nursing care. Fahrney-Keedy is committed to enhancing the lives of seniors through caring quality service.
