Spay/Neuter License Plates Help the Animals at the Humane Society of Washington County

By ordering Maryland's PET license tags, Washington County drivers will be spreading the word about the importance of spaying and neutering pets and they will also be making a donation to the Humane Society of Washington County.
Each time a PET Spay/Neuter tag is purchased in Washington County the HSWC receives $25.00. An added bonus to the PET tags is that each tag carries the message to spay and neuter.
The following are the steps to follow to purchase a Spay/Neuter License Plate:
1. You need to call, write or visit the Humane Society of Washington County with your request for a Spay/Neuter License Plate.
2. A $25 donation to the HSWC is required with your request. Payments may be cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover)
3. The staff at the HSWC will complete the top portion of the Application/Certification for Organizational License Plate form.
4. You then mail or deliver the form to the Motor Vehicle Administration along with $25.
Remember: You will need to return your current plates to the DMV once you receive your "animal friendly" plates.
