Maryland Law Enforcement Officers Inc. Scholarship Awarded

Princess Anne, MD-Juliet Dankwa, a Quince Orchid High School graduate, is the recipient of a Maryland Law Enforcement Officers Inc. scholarship. Dankwa is currently a junior at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a GPA of 4.0. She is the daughter of Pauline Yeboah of Hagerstown.
The scholarship in the amount of $500 is awarded to a student in good academic standing planning a career in law enforcement.
Active and retired members of law enforcement agencies disperse investment funds annually to colleges and universities across Maryland. UMES students have benefited from the organization's philanthropy for approximately 14 years.
"As in the past, we're very grateful to the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers Inc. for their generous support of the criminal justice program and its students," said Dr. Robert Harleston, UMES criminal justice program chair.
