Stocking Stuffers for Preteen Girls

Stocking Stuffers for Preteen Girls

Now I'm sure it has to do with my being a girl too, but my daughter is so easy to shop for. I have put together a few suggestions to help steer you in the right direction.
* Think about what preteen girls enjoy. How about video games, a jump rope, books, jacks, passes to a theme park or movie theater would make good stocking stuffers.
* Educational toys are typically "not boring" at this age, try a diary or blank journal, magnifying glass, paint set, science kit, magic tricks, a camera, film, and accessories.
* Portable CD players are always good.
* Girls like electronics too. How about getting your teenage girl a handheld video game device, or a digital clock, watch, or iPod? Cell phone accessories such as charms, covers, and purses.
* A Slinky, stuffed animals, a Pez dispenser, yo-yos, bubbles, gift certificates for her favorite stores, and stickers are always fun.
* Consider hair accessories, nail polish, earrings, flavored lip gloss, lotions and soaps or a locket.
* Find her some Beanie Babies, card games, puzzles, modeling clay or art supplies, bike lock, bike accessories, new purse, crazy socks, sewing kits, crocheting kits, or picture frames.
* Consider a bike lock, bike light equipment, or inline skate accessories.
(BOLD)Tips & Warnings
Including a special ornament for the tree (perhaps with your daughter's name and the date inscribed) in the stocking every year is a nice tradition--when your child grows up, she'll have a lifelong collection of ornaments.
