(Hagerstown, MD)- Announcing a new exhibition at the Washington County Arts Council Gallery: Reflection of Emotions- Works by Alla Zotova will be featured at the Washington County Arts Council Gallery.
Russian-born Alla Zotova moved to the United States in 1997, eventually settling in Hagerstown. She calls Hagerstown her new hometown.
Zotova holds a master's degree in electrical engineering. It was only recently that she discovered a hidden passion for painting. She says, "the world of abstract captured my heart, my thoughts and-most of all-my soul. I am blessed with an ability to express my emotions through art. It is an honor to know that people enjoy my paintings and choose to display them in their homes."
The exhibit closes December 8.
The Washington County Arts Council is located in historic downtown Hagerstown at 14 West Washington Street. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm, and by appointment.
The Washington County Arts Council is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of Maryland and the National Endowment for the Arts.
