The Fairy Ball
Madelyn wakes one mid-summer's eve, (said when fairies gather for celebration) to a full bright moon.
In the forest glade, beneath the moon, she spies hundreds of fairies fluttering about. Madelyn is able to partake in a rarely seen by human event. Fairies of all colors slip past her. Madelyn dances, twirls, and sings.
This vividly colored book was a pleasure to read. The delightful illustrations bring Madelyn and the fairies to life on this enchanted night.
Stephen J. Brooks, who has always escaped into the magical world of words, has written a splendid book of imagination.
Children and adults of all ages are sure to enjoy "The Fairy Ball" by Stephen J. Books. This reviewer and her two younger children sure did.
