Holiday Open House at the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum and Village

On December 10 from 1 to 4pm, join fellow residents for the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum and Village at Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, 7 miles South of Hagerstown, on MD Route 65 for their Holiday Open House.
Special features for this event include:
* Santa Claus in an authentic sleigh for picture taking opportunities, please bring your camera.
* Children's Workshop and Craft Area to make and take decorations home.
* Special Display by Local artisan Jesse Shoemaker who will display his handcrafted houses and cabins and share the details behind the creation of these cherished houses.
* Free Admission and donations are always welcome.
* Old time cookies and punch will be served.
* Gift Shop is open and has many newly arrived holiday items for gift giving.
* Quilt Raffle at 3pm on Sunday, December 10 of the hand quilted Rural Heritage Quilt made by the several members of the Friends of the Rural Heritage Museum. Quilt tickets will be available until the 2pm on Sunday, and are $1.00 per ticket.
