One Windy Parade

One Windy Parade

This year's Alsatia Mummer's Parade was a windy one. But that didn't keep community members from coming out and having a good time.
The Alsatia Mummer's Parade has been a Hagerstown tradition since the early 20th century--making this year the 82nd parade.
The annual parade that takes place in Hagerstown, Maryland, snaking down Potomac Street from north to south end, is said to be the largest nighttime parade on the East Coast.
Every Halloween weekend, the Alsatia Mummers Parade draws more than 10,000 participants with even more spectators.
This 3-hour parade, featuring dozens of floats, bands, dancers, music, and much much more.
NBC25 led the parade, which began at 7pm, as the Grand Marshall.
