4Score- 7:30pm at the Maryland Theater. Hagerstown Community Concert Association presents "4Score" featuring talented singers backed by a trio of musicians performing Broadway stage tunes and modern music sounds. Call 301-790-2000 or visit for more information.

Washington County Museum Consort- Museum Consort dedicates this performance in celebration of the Museum's 75th Anniversary. Selections will include "Elizabethtowne Suite" by Wayne Wold, "Canon for Four Bass Recorders" by David P. Ruhl, "Catawba Valley" by Peter A. Ramsey, and "The Liberty Bell March" by John Philip Sousa (1854-1932). Members of the consort include Jeffrey Clise, Brenda Slick, David Styer and Naomi Styer. Showcase of Bands- This event is being held at South Hagerstown High School Stadium, an d begins at 7:30pm. Participating marching bands include: Boonsboro High School, Clear Spring High School, Hancock High School, North Hagerstown High School, Smithsburg High School, South Hagerstown High School, andWilliamsport High School.
October 14
David Phelps Concert- Bethel Assembly of God Church, 515 East Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown. Concert is from 7-10pm. David Phelps is a former Gaither Vocal Band member. For tickets call Cathy Slone at 301-733-2530.

Maryland Symphony Orchestra Concert--Master Works I- Being held at the Maryland Theatre at 8pm, this concert features violinist Nicolas Kendall and Rimsky-Korsakov's exultant Russian Easter Overture and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, Op. 64 in E minor. Call 301-797-4000 for more information.

Downtown Live- 1st block of South Potomac Street, 11am-10pm. There will be 10 bands, great food from downtown restaurants. There will be a childrens' area and shopping. 82nd Alsatia Mummers Parade- 7pm in Downtown Hagerstown. Largest nighttime parade on the east coast, with over 10,000 participants. Call 301-739-2944 fore more information.
