It's Only Ink! Long hair can be troublesome

It's Only Ink!
Long hair can be troublesome

We've all been there. That first haircut can be a nightmare!
When Hattie's mother has a hard time getting the brush through Hattie's long, tangled locks, she tells Hattie that she's getting a haircut.
No way is Hattie letting somebody cut her hair!
The next morning, Hattie's mother takes her to the salon. The hairdresser has such a hard time because Hattie won't sit still. Before the hairdresser can snip the first strand, Hattie is up and out the door. Soon after, while running through the park, her hair begins to rapidly grow. Before long it's dragging behind her and everything gets caught up in it-animals try to make it their home, and neighborhood children use it as a jump rope!
By nightfall, Hattie learns just how troublesome too long hair can be.
Children will delight in the comical, full-color illustrations by Monica Kendall. Parents will love the lesson taught and teachers can use it in their classroom or as an advanced reader book.
"Hattie, Get a Haircut!" comes highly recommended by this reviewer and her rugrats.
