It's Only Ink! Pig, Pigger, Piggest

It's Only Ink!
Pig, Pigger, Piggest

Rick Walton's book is a creative twist on the traditional "Three Little Pigs" storybook. However, it is more than that; it IS the story of how three little pigs left their father's castle to build a castle of mud for themselves. Pig built his castle on a nice, muddy spot; Pigger built his castle on a nicer, muddier spot, and Piggest built his castle on the nicest, muddiest spot of all.
Noticed anything yet? When witches come to have Huff and Puff blow down their castles, Pig, Pigger, and Piggest fall in love with Witch, Witcher, and Witchest.
Walton has inventively written a children's picture book while having using word play with adjectives, comparatives, and superlatives.
"Pig, Pigger, and Piggest" is one of Walton's most popular language arts series. The vibrantly drawn illustrations by Jimmy Holder, bring the pig brothers to live. This reviewer encourages teachers to work Walton's book into their lesson plans. The kids will love it!
