Experience Hagerstown's Hauntings on City Center Ghost Tours

Our city's history isn't always a thing of the past; just ask someone who's experienced some of Hagerstown's hauntings. From the mysterious echoes and noises surrounding City Hall to the eerie sounds of jingling harnesses and horse steps in an old firehouse, there are plenty of spooky tales to get you in the Halloween spirit.
By wagon or on foot, visit and hear about some of City Center Hagerstown's most haunted sites on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013. All tours will begin and end at the Potomac Walk outside of Bulls and Bears in City Center Hagerstown.
Hayride tours will begin at 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. and require reservations and a $6 fee per seat, prepaid. Light refreshments will be provided by Bulls and Bears.
Walking tours will be led at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and require reservations and a fee of $3 per adult and $1 per child ages six to 12. Children age five and under are free.
"Our City Center Ghost Tours are very popular, and they fill up fast," says Community Affairs Manager Karen Giffin. "It is best to call and reserve a spot for both the walking tour and the haywagon ride. Last year, we filled all of our tours." Individuals can get a registration form on-line at: www.hagerstownmd.org/DocumentCenter/View/1996.
All reservations and fee payments are required in advance. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour.
