(Hagerstown) - The Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown begins its 38th season of the Travelogue series with the "Lure of Alaska" on Wednesday, September 26. The program, at South Hagerstown High School auditorium, begins at 7 p.m.
Presenter Dale Johnson leads the journey through this magic area, where large segments of the natural world still exist, untouched by man. Watch grizzlies fish for salmon, competing with each other for prime fishing areas. Travel through beautiful Denali National Park and visit Anchorage, the city that is home to more than half of the population of the entire state. Enjoy watching wildlife, viewing majestic scenery and meeting the interesting people who call Alaska home.
The Travelogue Series is a community-service project of the Kiwanis Club. The series brings quality, economically priced entertainment to the Tri-State area. Season tickets for the six-program series remain $30 for adults and $12 for students. Single admission tickets are sold at the door on show nights. The cost for adults is $10 and $5 for students.
Travelogue proceeds help the Kiwanis Club of Hagerstown raise funds to support the activities of charities in Washington County. For information and/or tickets, phone 301-739-1981 or on-line at http://hgrkiwanistravelogue-eorg.eventbrite.com.
