CPR/AED for the Professional/Health Care Provider

The American Red Cross of Washington County is conducting a CPR/AED for the Professional/Health Care Provider on August 31 from 9AM-3PM.
Created for those who maintain professional-level CPR/AED skills, the two-year certification is available for first responders and healthcare providers such as nurses, EMTs, paramedics, police, fire fighters, doctors, etc.
This course has been updated to meet the ECC2010 guidelines.
Learn the skills you need to act quickly and save a life: Red Cross training combines discussions and video with hands-on skills training to promote effective learning and keep students motivated. The course is based on real-life rescue scenarios and lesions that reinforce decision-making skills, so you will be confident to respond when an emergency occurs. With CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, you will learn to:
* Respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants
* Use an AED on adult, child, or infant victims of cardiac arrest
* Use personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other disease from spreading
* Training on Administering Emergency Oxygen
