Hager House Offers Pony Rides During National Pike Festival

Hagerstown, MD (April 21, 2010): The Jonathan Hager House and Museum invites you to come welcome the 22nd National Pike Festival & Wagon Train to City Park on Saturday, May 15, 2010 with a fun-filled day of tours and pony rides.
The Hager House will offer two hours of free pony rides on the museum grounds to celebrate arrival of the Wagon Train starting at 1:30pm.
The wagon train is expected to arrive in City Park at 2pm. The horses usually stop and rest between the Hager House and the Museum of Fine Arts. This is a wonderful photo opportunity and individuals will have the chance to get up close to the horses and speak with the drivers about their travels on the road that made America. The Wagon Train will be on site for approximately one hour before proceeding to the Ralph Henderson AG Center to camp for the night.
The Hager House is the home of Jonathan Hager the founder of Hagerstown and is located at 110 Key Street in Hagerstown City Park. The 271-year-old historic home will be open for tours from 10am until 4pm with a nominal admission charge.
