Bambi the Doe Is a Dear but not a Deer

Hagerstown, MD: She may be called Bambi but this sweet faced young lady is not the doe you would expect. She is an adult female Nubian goat, also called a doe, that came to the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) after she was caught running the streets in Hagerstown.
Probably destined for auction, Bambi decided to change her fate and apparently leapt from the vehicle in which she was traveling. Bambi's ear was tagged with identification from Illinois however efforts to locate her original owners have not been successful.
Currently residing at the HSWC, she is waiting patiently for a place to call her own. Approximately 60 pounds, her markings are a lovely brown against white. She is a bit timid and will need some patience and TLC to bring her to her full potential.
If you are interested in meeting Bambi please call the HSWC at 301-733-2060 and ask for adoptions. The Humane Society of Washington County is located at 13011 Maugansville Road in Hagerstown, MD.
