Annie the Three Legged Dog is Missing

Hagerstown, MD: Following a car accident over the weekend Annie a three legged black and white spotted beagle/pointer mix is missing. Her family is asking for help in finding her. A reward is being offered for her return.
The accident occurred on Interstate 70 between Myersville and Boonsboro. Annie was traveling with her human parents and canine family member, Bailey a German Short haired Pointer when the accident occurred. Annie ran from the accident and has not been found. Bailey was taken to the Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC).
Annie has had a rough life to date. She was originally adopted from the SPCA/Humane Society of Prince George's County after being taken there as a stray. She was returned to the SPCA after being hit by a car. Her front leg was later amputated as a result of the injury. She was adopted into a new home. Annie now needs all of our help to get her back home.
The HSWC is taking calls concerning Annie. It is recommended that individuals not approach Annie as she is wary of strangers and may run away. If she is seen or found please contact the HSWC at 301-733-2060.
