Bark Your Calendar for Bark in the Park

Hagerstown, MD: The 2nd annual Bark in the Park will be held on Saturday September 19, 2009 at Doub's Woods Park. The event begins at 9am and will continue until 2pm.
Registration will be from 9 am until 10 am at which time Pastor Jerry Lowans from St. Matthews & Washington Square United Methodist Churches will give a Blessing of the Animals. The Paws on the Path walk around Doub's Woods Park will begin immediately following.
The Master of Ceremony for this year's event will be Mr. Pieter Bickford from NBC 25. The day will be filled with vendors, demonstrations and rescue groups. Demonstrations will be given by the K9 Units from the Hagerstown City Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff Department, Premier Martial Arts, Healing Hearts Reiki and the Animal Health Clinic of Funkstown who will be giving Pet First Aid instruction. Games will be Bobbing for Hot Dogs (canines only), Musical Sit, Owner-Dog Look Alike, Best Tail Wager, Best Vocalist, Best Dressed, My Dog's Got Talent.
Custom designed t shirts donated by Screentique will be given to the first 40 registered participants and custom designed goodie bags donated by Longmeadow Animal Hospital will be handed out to participants. Supplies are limited for both items.
