Waynesboro Historical Society Tea
Queen Victoria Discussion

Waynesboro: Queen Victoria will be the focus of the annual Waynesboro Historical Society Tea at 3pm Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, in the historic Oller House at 138 W. Main St.
The theme for this year's tea is "Afternoon Tea With Queen Victoria." Jenny Poniske of Waynesboro, who will appear in Victorian era costume, will discuss the famous British monarch from an American perspective.
The menu will include soups, sandwiches and sweets, with both caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea available for guests.
The Victorian-era Oller House, the headquarters of the historical society, will provide the perfect setting for the tea, and volunteers will decorate the Oller House for the occasion.
There will be about 45 seats available for each of the two teas.
Tickets cost $15 for society members and $18 for nonmembers. Groups of eight or more can purchase tickets for $15 apiece.
Those who plan to attend may send a check earmarked for the tea to the Waynesboro Historical Society, 138 W. Main St., Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
