Public Hearing on Agricultural Preservation District Applications April 28

The Washington County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on possible approval of 9 nine individual 10-year term Agricultural Preservation Districts on Tuesday, April 28th at 9am as part of its regularly scheduled meeting in Room 227 of the County Administration Building, 100 West Washington Street in Hagerstown, Maryland.
On January 13, 2009 the Commissioners voted to continue with 10-year District Agreements in order to maintain the tax credit program, and as a means for landowners to show commitment to agriculture while waiting for funding for an easement sale.
