Come Hear What's Taking Shape in Downtown Hagerstown

Hagerstown, MD (April 1, 2009): The City of Hagerstown's Department of Economic Development will host an informational public meeting from 8:15 to 9:45am on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Bulls and Bears Restaurant located at 38 South Potomac St. in Downtown Hagerstown.
This Be at the Center of it All meeting is one in a series of quarterly informational meetings which serve to bring the public up to date on what is happening in Downtown Hagerstown. Each meeting features local business owners and business people sharing their experiences and enthusiasm for Downtown Hagerstown.
The meeting on April 16, 2008 will feature keynote speakers including Don and Jone Bowman who will be speaking on the transformation of three vacant properties into a vibrant community asset. After the discussion, a tour of the newly renovated buildings will follow the meeting.
Be at the Center of it All is designed to provide a range of knowledge and information from and about established businesses and longtime business owners to new businesses, their owners and even those projects envisioned by prospective entrepreneurs that have not yet come to fruition. So come hear about what's happening in your community and be at the center of it all! This is a free event however registration is required.
