CCT Announces Cast for Neil Simon Comedy
Barefoot in the Park

Chambersburg, PA: Chambersburg Community Theatre has announced the cast for the Neil Simon comedy, Barefoot in the Park. The show runs March 13-15 and 19-22 at the historic Capitol Theatre, 159 S Main St. Evening performances are at 8pm and Sunday matinees are at 2pm.
After a six day honeymoon, a spanking new lawyer - played by Marshall Carroll - and his pretty and addled young bride - played by Campbell Jones - move into the new, high rent apartment that she has chosen for them. In order to enjoy its charming character, one has to climb six wheezing flights of stairs. Not only that, the apartment is absolutely bare of furniture, the paint job came out all wrong, the skylight leaks snow, there isn't room for a double bed, and an outlandish gourmet - played by Larry Jones - who lives in a loft on the roof uses it and the window ledge as the only access to his padlocked premises. Other cast members include Joan Wagner as the bride's mother, Mike Kennedy as the telephone repairman and W. Andrew Stover as the Lord & Taylor deliveryman. The show is directed by Deelana Kennedy.
Set in the 1960's, Barefoot in the Park is a classic Neil Simon comedy with witty dialogue and unexpected twists to keep the audience laughing right up to the final curtain. The show is not suitable for young children, due to adult situations.
Advance tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for students (through college with current ID); tickets must be purchased during regular business hours to be eligible for the discount.
