A revised guide to county services during the 2011-2012 holidays

The Holidays are upon us and Washington County Government wants to be sure citizens are informed about which services and programs are open during this period.
The following list is compiled by holiday. As Christmas and the New Year fall on weekend dates, those holidays are being observed on Fridays and Mondays. The County Commissioners granted an additional holiday to employees at the December 13th meeting. Essential Law Enforcement and Emergency Services will be provided as usual.
Christmas
General Government Services:
Commissioners' Employees Day, Thursday, December 22: Closed
Christmas Eve Observed on Friday, December 23: Closed
Christmas Day Observed: Monday, December 26: Closed
Transit:
Thursday, December 22: Normal Schedule, all routes and services
Friday, December 23: Normal Schedule, all routes and services
Christmas Eve: Saturday, December 24: All Transit Services end at 4PM
Christmas Day Observed: Monday, December 26: Closed
Landfill - All Locations:
Thursday, December 22: All locations open
Office closed Friday, December 23, all other services open
Closed Saturday December 24 and Monday December 26
New Year:
General Government Services:
New Years Eve Observed: Friday, December 30: Closed
New Years Day Observed: Monday, January 2: Closed
Transit:
New Years Eve: Saturday, December 31: All Transit Services end at 7PM
New Years Day Observed: Monday, January 2: Closed
Landfill - All Locations:
Office closed Friday, December 30, all other services open
New Years: Closed Saturday December 31 and Monday January 2
