Airs: Discovery Channel every Tuesday at 9pm (60 min.)

Summary: Each week, Mike Rowe, Dirty Jobs host, introduces viewers to a hardworking group of men and women who overcome fear, danger, and sometimes putrid smells to accomplish their daily tasks. Each episode Rowe assumes the duties of the jobs in question working alongside these brave men and women. Jobs include rattlesnake catchers, road kill collector, zoo cage cleaner, trash collector, fish processors and more. Rowe is a good sport and knows that whether it's serving greasy slop to pigs or collecting honey from bees, it's all part of an honest day's work.
At the end viewers are left with an appreciation for jobs/situations they may take for granted.
The Discovery Channel and Mike Rowe goes to work with unsung American laborers who make their living doing the most unthinkable, yet vital vocations in this interesting series.
