It's Only Ink! Yummy pies
It's Only Ink!
Authors, Ellen Olson-Brown and Brian Claflin say, "don't cry. It's time for pie!"
For some...pie is the wonder food. No doubt Brown and Claflin would agree. Told in rhyme, "Bake You a Pie" delivers a fun-filled story using different musical styles all about--you guessed it--pies! Grace the little angel gets a sweet potato pie. Louis the little hepcat gets a jelly jam pie. And Pearl the little rock star gets a tangerine tambourine pie.
Illustrations by Jeffrey Ebbeler, are bright, silly, and comical--bringing the story to life!
Full of young hepcats, tenors, cowboys, angels, and rock, stars, "Bake You a Pie" sings out favorite pies in opera, rock 'n roll, gospel, and jazz.
Young readers and listeners will get a kick out of the silly concoctions that make up this delightful tale.
This energetic tale includes an audio CD with hysterical performances by Brian Claflin.
"Bake You a Pie" is a book for all and comes highly recommended by this reviewer.
