Next week at your Arts Council!

* Tuesday, July 11- ACTING ACCORDINGLY by the New World Theater Company at Widemyer Park in Hancock. 11am. This series continues at Washington County Parks through August 29 and is sponsored by the Nora Roberts Foundation.
* Wednesday, July 12- FANTASY FAVORITES with Stephanie Bickford at University Plaza in downtown Hagerstown at 10am. Brought to you by the Washington County Arts Council and the City of Hagerstown.
* Wednesday, July 12- HAGERSTOWN GRACE PRAISE BAND performs Gospel music at the Bandshell in Hagerstown's beautiful City Park at 7pm.
* Thursday, July 13- Music by A WING & A PRAYER--a Hagerstown favorite. Grab a lunch and join the fun at University Plaza in downtown Hagerstown at noon. Brought to you by the Washington County Arts Council and the City of Hagerstown. Each Thursday a different local favorite, all summer through August 17.
* Saturday, July 15-This week's Music-by-the-Lake features THE ANNAPOLIS BLUEGRASS COALITION at the Bandshell in Hagerstown's beautiful City Park, starting at 7pm. Brought to you by the Washington County Arts Council and the City of Hagerstown.
* Check out a summer full of entertainment, music, education and art at www.washingtoncountyarts.com
* More Arts Council-sponsored storytelling opportunities for children are found at the Hagerstown Suns Stadium. Prior to each Sunday home game, members of the team will read a story to children right on the field. The series focuses on a rich heritage of children's classics, from "Pretzel" and "The Merry Chase" to "Blueberries for Sal" and "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie." Suns Storytimes are scheduled for July 9, 30, Aug. 13, & Sept. 3.
