It's Only Ink! What is Normal?

It's Only Ink!
What is Normal?

Matt wants to know if he is a normal kid. Unsure, he sits with his mom and her asks questions like, "is it normal for him to be afraid of the dark," or "is it normal that he and his mom live alone." His mom explains that being normal is different for everyone.
"Mom, How Do I Know If...I'm Normal?" opens up an honest dialogue between mother and child, while letting children know that it is okay to admit when one is sad, scared, or even mad. Having these feelings has nothing to do with defining someone as "normal," however, it is "normal" to have these feelings. I enjoyed reading this book to my children. Afterward, it sparked our own Q&A session.
"Mom, How Do I Know If...I'm Normal?" by Sue Tryba is the perfect book to read to school-aged children as it is a sure thing in opening the floor to curious little minds.
This is the first book in a number of "Mom, How Do I Know If..." series and it comes highly recommended by the Leese family.
