Calcium Is Good For Children's Bones and Teeth. Three Servings Of Dairy A Day...

(NAPSA)-Calcium is good for children's bones and teeth. Three servings of dairy a day provide kids with nine essential nutrients including calcium, potassium, phosphorus, protein and the vitamins D, B, B12, riboflavin and niacin. A good way to get kids to eat more dairy is to serve them individually wrapped snack cheese such as Frigo(r) Cheese Heads(r), which come in string cheese, Mini Bars and Snack Sticks. The fun, healthy snacks can be packed in lunch boxes, served for breakfast or eaten on the go. For more information, visit www.frigocheeseheads.com or www.3aday.org.
When women experience head, neck, back and jaw pain, a common symptom of a heart attack, only 47 percent of women would call their doctor and just 35 percent would call 911 or visit an emergency department, a survey conducted by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) reported. The survey was conducted by ACEP as part of its "Take it to Heart" campaign, which is devoted to empowering women with information about the signs and symptoms of heart disease. "Take it to Heart" resources are available at www.acep.org/takeittoheart.
A new procedure lets sleep apnea sufferers finally get a good night's sleep. The Pillar Procedure is a FDA-cleared, low-risk treatment for people suffering from mild to moderate OSA. The procedure, usually done on an outpatient basis, implants three tiny inserts into the soft palate in the roof of the mouth. Within a few weeks, the tissue around the inserts becomes firmer, preventing the palate from drooping during sleep and blocking the airway. For more information, visit www. pillarprocedure.com.
