Area Resident Named to Dean's List at Providence College

Providence, RI (01/13/09): Daniel Taylor, a resident of Keedysville, MD and a member of the class of 2009 has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College for the Fall 2008 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade point average with a minimum of 12 credits.
Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,800 students and offers degrees in 48 academic majors. For the last twelve years, Providence College has been ranked as one of the top two regional universities in the north in U.S. News' America's Best Colleges. The College achieved the #2 position in the year 2008 edition of the popular college guide.
