Four Washington County DSS employees named Competent Communicator through Toastmasters International

WCDSS Wordsmiths, Washington County Department of Social Services Toastmasters Chapter has announced four Competent Communicators at their June meeting. Nicole Prentice, Ellie Murto, Mary Taylor, and Amber Crawford met the requirement of designated Competent Communicator by Toastmasters International.
To become a competent communicator, participants must complete ten speeches, five to seven minutes in length addressing a variety of different issues to improve their speaking and presentation skills.
The Washington County Department of Social Services is a field office of the Maryland Department of Human Resources under the direction of Governor Martin O'Malley, Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown, and Secretary Brenda Donald.
