Alzheimer's Support Group Meetings
...May 2008

The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Maryland Chapter, Western Maryland Region, an agency of the United Way of Washington County, offers family/caregiver support group meetings in Washington County. These meetings are open to the public and free of charge.
* The Somerford Place-Memory Care Assisted Living Group usually meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 until 6:30pm. The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Somerford is located at 10014 Sharpsburg Pike, Hagerstown. Light refreshments will be served and caregiving will be available with advance notice. For more information about this group, please contact Sheri Evans at 301-791-9221 ext. 213.
* Loyalton of Hagerstown group will meet the third Thursday of each month. The next meeting is Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 2-3pm. Loytalton is located at 20009 Rosebank Way, Hagerstown. Caregiving is available with advance notice. Call April Reynolds at 301-733-3353 for more information.
* The Homewood at Williamsport group will meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 10 until 11:30am. The next meeting is Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Homewood is located at 16505 Virginia Avenue in Williamsport. Caregiving is available during the group. Call Pastor Reg Rice at 301-582-1750, ext. 297 for more information.
