The Humane Society Welcomes New Employees

Hagerstown- The Humane Society of Washington County is pleased to announce the addition of several new employees and the lengthy service of a number of volunteers.
Joining the staff of the HSWC as part of the Animal Control Staff are Evelyn Garrett as supervisor and Mary Havican as an Animal Control officer. Our newest customer service representatives are Meredith Davis, Lindsey Horst, and Robin Keihl, and our newest animal care technicians are Christine Crone, Candace Dillman, Candida Everett, Tracey Peter, Carol Posthumus, Robert Rohrer, and John Wilson.
The HSWC employs 25 individuals including animal control officers, animal caretakers, and customer service reps. In addition, the HSWC depends on the time and talents of more than one hundred volunteers who help care for the animals, perform office functions, provide customer service, and assist with special events.
The following have been long time volunteers with the HSWC: Shirley Palladino since October 2003, Gayle Becker and Christine Clark since November 2003, Jean Kaldor since January 2004, Callista Lohman since May 2003, Kayleigh Martin since April 2004 and Bill & Marie Wampler since March 2004.

The Humane Society of Washington County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicating to improving the quality of live for animals by sheltering those at risk and providing educational programs that strive to deepen the community's commitment to humane values.
