Local Rotary Program Benefits Area Non-Profits, "2-4-1 Coupon Book" On Sale
Make Great Holiday Gifts, While Helping Local Hagerstown-Washington County Non-Profits and Charities

(Hagerstown, MD)- The 27th Annual Rotary 2-4-1 Coupon Book is now on sale. The coupon booklet is valid for all of 2008.
According to Hagerstown Rotarian B.J. Goetz who is chairing this year's program, "There are over eighty money-saving coupons for local restaurants, recreation and entertainment. There are also good savings for products and services from more than twelve local businesses."
The Hagerstown Rotary reports that in all the years of offering the coupon book, "Never have we had 2,000 books out this early in the hands of so many people, and at so many different sales locations," according to B.J. Goetz.
According to the Hagerstown Rotary, the booklets contain coupons for 35 area restaurants (for breakfast, lunch and dinner). There are also discounted admissions to golf courses, bowling alleys, theater performances, video rentals, and more. The entire savings offered in the coupon book amounts to more than $500.
"All the money raised goes to local charities, and the Hagerstown Rotary is working closely with other on-profits to help raise money for this project," said Goetz.
The 2008 ROTARY 2-4-1 Coupon Books are on sale at PNC Banks or Susquehanna Bank Offices, Hamilton Nissan, Glessner Alarms and Communications, Hagerstown Paint and Glass, The Herald Mail Company, Wilson Orthodontics, Longmeadow Animal Hospital, Bones and Cones Dessertery, Carson's Jewelers, Gaye McGovern Insurance, Keller Stonebraker Insurance, Dynamark Security Centers, Reliable Furniture, Ellsworth Electric, Tri-State Rehab, Durango's Restaurant, Higher Ground Coffee or the Gourmet Goat.
If you want to help any of the following non-profit agencies directly, you can buy 2-4-1 Coupon Books from them and they will get to keep half of the $20 price for their work in our community: The Parent-Child Center, San Mar Children's Home, REACH, Children's Village, Brooklane Hospital, Safe Place, the Washington County Humane Society, Star Community, Turning Point, Boy Scouts, Discovery Station, Western Maryland Hospital Auxiliary, Aspiring to Serve, Habitat for Humanity, and the YMCA.
Money raised through the sale of the coupon books help area non-profits (including the ones mentioned above), and other on-profits supported by the Hagerstown Rotary Foundation.
