Fall Festival at City Farmers Market Through November
Hagerstown, MD (October 30, 2007)- The Fall Festival continues through November at Hagerstown City Farmers Market! The oldest indoor market in the area, located at 25 West Washington Street, is open every Saturday in November from 5am to noon.
Saturday, November 3 kicked off the month's events at City Farmers Market with A Taste of the Place, a delicious day offering homemade samples and live cooking demonstrations. Don't miss the debut of the 2007/2008 City Farmers Market Cookbook! Market Vendors have contributed their most top-secret recipes into the best Market Cookbook yet, a brand new compilation of treats for the taste buds. The new cookbook is free while supplies last and makes a terrific holiday gift for anyone, including yourself! Stop by for a bite and grab one while they last.
The deliciousness continues after A Taste of the Place the following Saturday, November 10 with an Apple Cooking Contest. Market Vendors will bring in their best apple dishes to be judged by local celebrity judges.
Join Lou Scally as he broadcasts live from the Farmers Market on Saturday, November 17 from 8:30am to 10am. This very special Saturday at the Market features a Thanksgiving Dinner Basket giveaway. Enter for a chance to win a basket as overstuffed as a Thanksgiving turkey with food and gifts donated by vendors and the City of Hagerstown.
