Dollars for Danes: Online Auction

Dollars for Danes
Online Auction

Annapolis, MD- Let the bidding begin!
On October 19th at 9am, the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. (MAGDRL) launched their online auction fundraiser with cMarket. The first of its kind for the League, they will be raising money for Great Dane rescue, care, and outreach programs. With help from Cambridge, MA based cMarket, the leader in online auction fundraising, MAGDRL has assembled a diverse catalog of items and placed them online for the public to bid on during this event. The online auction will be running until November 11th 2007.
The "Dollars for Danes" online auction will benefit a number of educational resources for dog owners and prospective owners alike. MAGDRL teaches individuals about the breed and helps to determine whether they are a good fit for certain lifestyles. They also offer training and care services, along with rescue programs that find permanent and foster homes for abandoned, neglected or abused pure and mixed breed Danes. They offer medical assistance to those dogs that come to them in need, and provide spay and neutering prior to placing the Great Danes with new families.
MAGDRL's online auction features a number of desirable items at discounted prices. Consumers can take advantage of great deals on travel, jewelry, accessories for the home and - of course - gifts for dogs. They can also bid on unique items such as autographed sports memorabilia, a chance to set sail for a private sunset cruise, and tickets to Super Bowl XLII.
