Fahrney-Keedy Heritage Festival Scheduled for August

Fahrney-Keedy Home and Village is pleased to host our 3rd Annual Heritage Festival on Saturday, August 4 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. The event is free to the public.
This year's entertainment includes Classic Cars with a Disc Jockey, the 61st PA Volunteer Infantry Regiment Civil War Living History, Craft Vendors, a Petting Zoo from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Scrap Booking table, and a Book Signing by Local Author Catherine Reese.
"We view this event as a way to reach out to the local community by hosting a wide array of activities during this special day in August. The residents enjoy seeing all of the activities and interacting with family and visitors. Any funds raised during the day are used to help support the residents and their care," said Jay Shell, President / CEO.
We will also satisfy your hunger pangs with barbeque chicken, bake sale, fresh produce and other food vendors.
Fahrney-Keedy is easy to find. We are 3 miles west of Boonsboro along Route 66 and 2 miles from Interstate 70.
Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village is a non-profit retirement community that serves Medicare, Medicaid and private pay nursing home residents as well as assisted living and independent living residents. Fahrney-Keedy is affiliated with the Church of the Brethren with an independent Board of Directors. Contributions and proceeds support charitable care and special projects that improve the life for those who live at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village.
