Local Non-Profit Organization to Host Scholarship Reception

The Maryland Society of Accountants, Inc. (MSA) is proud to host the Salute to Accounting Scholarship Recipients on January 15, 2007 from 5:30 pm-8:00 pm at the Governor Calvert House in Annapolis (58 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401).
The local non-profit organization is holding the reception, to honor 27 state of Maryland college students who will be receiving accounting scholarships from the MSA. The winners are:

The event is the culmination of Accounting Awareness Week which has been proclaimed by the State of Maryland, Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Howard County, Montgomery County and Wicomico County from January 8-12, 2007. The week was established to educate Maryland residents and small business owners on the value and role of accounting in their everyday lives.
