Pre-Employment Physical Exams
Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter regarding a question. Throughout life you are required to have pre employment physical exams. Why when you reach retirement age you are not required to have a physical examination before receiving Social Security benefits?
People with disabilities, receiving S.S.I. benefits, etc. have to be approved physically disabled.
People are individuals, not all the same.
Wouldn't an arrangement such as this help with the Social Security problem (crisis) that we all keep hearing about?

Whipped Cream Thrown in Teacher's Faces
Dear Editor:
What's with all the discussions about this? How many times have we (now adults) wished we could have done this to our teachers and professors growing up? The kids at Bester Elementary got that chance. My son goes to Bester and he was one who got to throw one of the whipped cream pie tins. He had a blast.
I commend the school and it's teachers for allowing the children to partake in this fun. The kids work hard--they needed a little release.

A Tie-in with Elections and Gas Prices?
Dear Editor:
Isn't it funny how the cost of gas went down while the elections were going on? Why is that? Why isn't prices still dropping? What's the tie-in? Giving you something to think about.
