Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp Resort

Jellystone Camp Resort underwent a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation last year. During 2006 Ron & Vicki Vitkun, owners, added five more luxury cabins, and 58 new RV sites. Making the biggest splash with campers is the brand new 3,200 square foot interactive pool, and two 400-foot water slides "Picnic Plunge" and "Ranger's Revenge."
Saying that the staff made the difference at Jellystone, Vitkun said, "We are blessed to have a business located in Washington County, and a staff that gives 110% every day regardless of the weather. We look forward to a fantastic 2007 camping season."
"Imagine the whole family racing down the 400 ft waterslides or playing a game of volleyball in the pool. Maybe you'd like to have your family picture taken with Yogi Bear or play a game of "Down & Dirty" kickball. How about cooking dinner over a campfire? In the evening, you can practice your putting on our 18 hole mini-golf course, kick up your heels at the street dance or just sit back and enjoy our outdoor movie theater. Whatever you choose, rest assured that at the end of the day, you'll have lots of new family memories.
"Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Maryland is a family RV and cabin resort. Whether your idea of camping means all the amenities of home in a forty-foot motorhome or getting back to nature in a cozy tent, we have campsites to accommodate your needs. If a cabin is more your style we have plenty of options, from rustic to luxury.
"Family fun is our number one priority. Our guests love our friendly staff and the level of service we provide. We'll entertain you from sun up to sun down with a jam-packed schedule of fun activities from April through November. Let us pamper your family on your next vacation, weekend get-away, or overnight stay.
"We are located 1 mile east of I-81 at exit number 1 in Washington County, Maryland - The Crossroads of the Civil War. Hagerstown and Washington County offer a history-rich area along with the natural beauty of western Maryland's scenic foothills. The area abounds with outdoor activities, wildlife, historical sites, cultural gems and shopping," says the Vitkuns.
Jellystone is open all year!
