County Offers Free E-cycle Event

County Offers Free E-cycle Event

Do you have an old computer, monitor, TV set, radio or other electronic equipment that needs to be recycled? If you live in Washington County, you can "e-cycle" electronic items for free at 40-West Landfill on Saturday, November 18.
The event is free to residents of the County at the landfill, one mile west of Huyett's Crossroads on U.S. Route 40, from 9am-3pm, sponsored by the Washington County Board of County Commissioners, the Maryland Department of the Environment and the Maryland Environmental Service.
Materials accepted will include computers and peripherals, with a maximum 4 monitors per vehicle, TV sets with a maximum of 4 per vehicle, radios, and telephones.
