Road closings in Washington County

The Washington County Engineering Department has announced that construction on two bridge repair projects has begun.
Nick Road Bridge just East of Harpers Ferry Road will be open to local and emergency traffic only, until Friday, July 14, due to reconstruction of a culvert at that location. One lane will remain open at all times during construction at this site.
Catholic Church Bridge over Rattle Run Creek, approximately 3.5 miles from Indian Springs Road, North of Clear Spring, will be closed to traffic until Thursday, July 13, due to reconstruction of the creek crossing.
Appropriate detours will be posted and maintained.
