Gaming Fund Applications Sought

The Washington County Gaming Commission has announced it will begin accepting applications for the distribution of gaming funds on April 3, 2006.
Organizations that submitted an application in 2005 will be sent an application on April 3.
All other organizations may obtain an application by contacting the County Gaming Office at 33 West Washington St. Hagerstown, Maryland at 240-313-2040.
Completed applications are due back to the Gaming Office no later than 4:30PM on May 12, 2006.
Funding announcements are made in August of each year. In 2005, the Gaming Commission distributed $3,001,848.25 in revenues, about $1.5 million to charitable organizations and about $1.5 million to Fire and Rescue companies.
