City of Hagerstown Advisory: Christmas Tree Pick-Up

The Department of Public Works will begin the collection of Christmas trees as noted in the schedule below. All ornaments, tinsel, lights or other decorations must be removed from the tree. Otherwise, the tree will not be collected.
Tuesday, January 3, 2006- Northwest Quadrant
From the west side of North Potomac Street to the north side of West Washington Street (Rt. 40), and all areas in between.
Wednesday, January 4, 2006- Northeast Quadrant
From the north side of East Washington Street (Rt. 40) to the east side of North Potomac Street, and all areas in between.
Thursday, January 5, 2006- Southwest Quadrant
From the south side of West Washington Avenue (Rt. 40)to the west side of South Potomac Street, and all areas in between.
Friday, January 6, 2006- Southeast Quadrant
From the east side of South Potomac Street to the south side of East Washington Street (Rt. 40), and all areas in between.
You may place your tree at the curb in front of your residence as early as 4:00PM the day before your scheduled pick-up day and no later than 7:00AM on your scheduled pick-up day. The Department of Public Works will be collecting Christmas trees only--no other debris placed by the curb will be picked up by this department.
