C&O Canal Turns Water Off at Campsites

In preparation for winter, Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park will remove pump handles to winterize the wells by Friday, November 18. Visitors should bring their own water while camping, hiking, and biking. Pump handles will be returned in early April.
